Portugal quer ver os Megadeth de novo


A propуsito da ediзгo do novo disco dos Megadeth e consequente digressгo, que contarб com datas na Europa, venho por este meio informar-me, em meu nome mas tambйm de um considerбvel nъmero de pessoas, sobre a possibilidade de Portugal receber um concerto da referida banda.

Tendo em conta a aceitaзгo que a mesma tem no nosso paнs, a presenзa nos Tops dos ъltimos trabalhos, e os excelentes espectбculos que os Megadeth jб realizaram em Portugal, tenho todas as razхes para acreditar que a passagem da banda pelo nosso paнs й possнvel e seria um grande sucesso.

De realзar tambйm que os vбrios contactos que encetei junto de diversas comunidades de mъsicos e de outras pessoas ligadas ao meio geraram um movimento de acolhimento muito positivo а ideia.

Dou como exemplo, os concertos dos Metallica, Slipknot e Sepultura, que se realizaram a 4 de Junho, inseridos no festival Rock in Rio Lisboa, que tiveram um sucesso enorme. Os Megadeth inserem-se numa faixa de mercado similar, logo, um concerto em Portugal seria perfeitamente viбvel. Juntando a isso a indefiniзгo que a banda ainda tem nas datas de concertos, poderiam estar reunidas as condiзхes ideais.

Regarding the upcoming release of a new Megadeth record, and following European Tour, I would like to ask you, on my and also a considerable number of other peoples behalf, on the possibility of Portugal having a show from the mentioned band.

If you consider the acceptance that the band has in our country, the presence in the Tops of the last albums and the amazing shows the band already had here, I have every reason to believe that having Megadeth in Portugal is possible and would be a great success.

I must also say, that this idea was enthusiastically welcomed among several musician communities as well as music fans in general.

As an example, consider the concerts that Metallica, Slipknot and Sepultura gave on June 4th, inserted in the Rock in Rio Lisbon festival, which had an enormous success. Megadeth fits in the same market-slot, so, a concert in Portugal would be perfectly viable. Adding to this the fact that tour dates have not been set yet, i think that the perfect conditions are gathered.
