Proposed WILCO Annex

We have serious concerns about the distance from proposed site to 7 schools. {.6 miles to Stony Point & Stony Point 9th Grade Center, 1.1 miles to Vic Robertson, 1.6 miles to Union Hill Elementary, and Hopewell Middle School, 2.2 miles to Double File, and 2.3 miles to Caldwell Heights}. That is allowing non-hardened offenders CRIMINALS daily mandatory access to literally THOUSANDS of children.
Secondly we have serious concerns over traffic impacts incurred due to the construction of said buildings, especially since we have not appreciated the traffic impact from the outlet mall, more less the hospital, and other retail outlets.
Third our concerns rise out of the indifferent spending of 2.8 million tax payer dollars to acquire 25 acres of tax free property, and the loss of 25 acres of tax base/income. We are spending $110,000 per acre, there are much more economical locations for said County Annex.
Lastly, this is a residential area, surrounded almost exclusively by subdivisions(Chandler Creek to the west, Jester Farms to the south, Settlement, Settlement II, Eagles Nest, and Meadow Lake all to the north).
County Commissioner Precinct 1 offices need to be centralized in Precinct 1; not on the border of precinct #1 and precinct #4, surrounded almost exclusively by residential subdivisions loaded with homes, and less than 2.5 miles from SEVEN schools.
We petition Williamson County to abstain from purchasing the property at 3406 & Sunrise. Negotiate with fiscal responsibility for property in a more industrial/commercial area.
