Rainhill neighbors against a Multi-Use Games Area at Rainhill High School

Reference number P/2012/0853.
The initial objection to this proposal is the sheer disturbance to the neighbors of the High School, a once considerate neighbor of the community.
Firstly, the floodlights on the property already cause a horrendous disturbance to the residents of Bishopdale Drive, and the addition of more floodlights will only disrupt the peace more.
Secondly, the noise pollution created from such an area will yet again add to the general nuisance of the build.
We understand that this area will add to the potential of many footballers and young people. However, the school as it is holds many events for youths from 5 upwards, on weeknights as well as weekends.
Another issue prompted by this potential build is the security of our houses. As it is, the general security of the school buildings are lackluster, as there have been youths spotted on the grounds after dark. We fear the build of this area and the expensive equipment which will be on the grounds will fuel a series of thefts which will threat the once peaceful village of Rainhill and the quiet neighbors who live here.
Please help us stop the build of this area and encourage a different space for the players to train. We need 100-200 signatures, we would really appreciate yours.
