Reading University Physics Department Closure

As you may be aware Reading Universitys Physics Department is due for closure in 2010, this mean that there will be no undergraduate programme starting from next year, 2007-8.

We, the Reading Physics Society in conjunction with RUSU believe this to be a misjudgement by the university. There is currently a major demand for Physicists in the UK and worldwide too, remember the science of these peoples solve the major problems in the world, theyve invited electricity, solved the Ozone problem, and currently work to combat global warming. The works of these people also raises and answer fundamental questions about why we are here? And the nature of the world we live in. Let us keep asking these questions.
