We, the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and ally residents of the metro Atlanta area, hereby indicate our alarm over any mistreatment of transgender individuals in midtown community, while transgender individuals are lawfully walking in the midtown neighborhoods where we live, socialize and work. We oppose neighborhood or business associations, neighborhood watch groups, security agencies or law enforcement stopping us in the lawful conduct of our everyday lives to question, harass, follow, or profile any of us in numbers dissimilar to any of the rest of us. Our transgender friends, colleagues, and fellow community members are precious to us, our community, our humanity, and our liberation struggle for the achievement and realization of all of our human rights.
