Dear Mr. President,
We were notified by his family members, that Mr. Chanh Huu Nguyen is being detained against his will in the Republic of Korea at the request of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Mr. Chanh Huu Nguyen shares your vision in spreading human rights and democracy throughout the world. And it was in this vision, that he campaigned for you in the Vietnamese-American communities in your two presidential elections. Mr. Chanh Huu Nguyen was also Chairman of the March Against Terror, International and active Director Member of the United States International Mission, an organization aggressively in the fight against Human Trafficking and Children Sex Slavery.
With Vietnamese American community, Mr. Nguyen is an active in all charity projects serving community. He is also a patriot citizen to his homeland of Vietnam. For many years, Mr. Nguyen devoted and dedicated all of his abilities, knowledge, and resources to fight for democracy, human rights and justice for community and his homeland the cause that many American sacrificed their life for.
Mr. Chanh Huu Nguyen is not just a community activist but he is also a Vietnamese leader with many abilities, which the communist government would never ignore any opportunity to label him as the worse. We confirm with you that Mr. Nguyen is not a terrorist but a beloved freedom fighter.
Mr. Chanh Huu Nguyen has not do any harm to the land of beautiful America or Republic of Korea and he should not be detained injustice for any reason.
We are voters and taxpayers contributing in building this beautiful America, humbly request you to:
Intervene in your power to request for Mr. Nguyens freedom.
Intervene with government of the Republic of Korea to prevent any order to extradite Mr. Nguyen Huu Chanh to the hand of communist government of Vietnam.
