Reorganizing the Maple Story Economy

We, of the Maple Story community have come together to solve a current crisis of Maple Story, the inflation of items to such high amounts of Mesos that many people cannot afford to purchase anymore. Maple Story need it be, must be regulated economically in some way. We have no guidelines to follow.

This petition goes for a free Owl of Minerva tool that everybody may be able to use at any given time.

This petition uses the theory of Perfect Competition.

Perfect Competition is a market structure in which a large number of firms produce the same product(s).

Four conditions for Perfect Competition:

1. Many buyers and sellers to participate in the market.

2. Sellers offer identical products.

3. Buyers and sellers are well informed about products.

4. Sellers are able to enter and exit the market freely.

I believe to reduce prices we need to inform the general public (Maple Players) to buy at the best prices from Free Market shops. If we, the players of Maple Story, were issued a free Owl of Minerva to use as we wish, people will be more informed about prices in the world of Maple Story, and only then, start to go to the lowest priced shops. Therefore, sellers will be forced to lower prices to stay in competition (if they wish,)or force Maple Story players to delve into an alternate resource to buy from.

We believe the reason why the Maple Community sells items for high amounts, is due to the fact highly funded Maple Story players go to Free Market and buy what they can at high prices due to the difficulty of finding what they are searching for. This then inflates the prices due to the fact sellers now are informed that they are able to be sold for such an amount.

The legit players and highly unfunded players would enjoy having the opportunity to again play as one of the Maple Story community, instead of being left out.
