Revert to the Original Homeroom Period

We, the undersigned members of the Council Rock High School-South Community, do not approve of the current system of homerooms. We believe that the current system of homerooms provides for inefficient distribution of important homeroom materials, and presents the opportunity for teachers to teach through homeroom, causing students to miss important announcements.
Having a separate period for homeroom alleviates these problems, and creates the opportunity for students to see other classmates that they would not normally see during the academic day. We also believe that it creates a form of class bonding to have the same homeroom for four years, and it eases administrative problems on the first days of school.
Therefore, we the undersigned strongly encourage the Council Rock High School-South Administration to revert to the original homeroom setup by having an additional Homeroom period after First Period.
