The undersigned concerned voters oppose the proposal to be put forth before the Jefferson Parish Council to change the name of Delta Playground to David "Pro" Scheuermann Playground or any derivation of this name. While we feel that Mr. Scheuermann has served the Jefferson Parish Recreation department invaluably, and we are indebted to him and his family for his years of service, we do not agree with the changing of Delta Playground's name. We feel that Delta Playground has a long history of Delta Eagle Pride and look forward to our children and grandchildren's future as Delta Eagles.
