Fairhill Community High School is an alternative high school in the Kensington section of North Philadelphia. It services 210 overaged, undercredited students who have dropped out of the School District of Philadelphia.
On May 20, 2011, the School District of Philadelphia announced that Fairhill Community High School would be forced to close its doors due to budget cuts, citing the absorption of all its high-risk urban youth back into the environments they already willingly chose to leave.
We, the undersigned, believe that these students deserve to keep their home at 2820 North 4th Street.
