We, the undersigned, support the retention of the Crown Hotel as a rock venue.
The Crown Hotel has a solid place in the history of Dunedin and New Zealand music and has proved to be the nurturing ground for some fantastic original music. The demise of the Crown as a rock venue would be sad loss to local, touring national and international musicians, their fans, Dunedin and New Zealand. We fully support Jones and Joanne in their plight to save this venue.

God Damn! It would seem these days it is a lot easier to shut amazing and inspirational venues down, than to save them. I spent a good chunk of my youth playing pool, chopping diesel and dancing like a spaz at the Crown. It would be a horrendous injustice
