To: The Managing Committee (MC) of the Singapore Recreation Club (SRC)







We the undersigned, active members of the SRC & any public members, would like to appeal to the MC to help IMPROVE & CONSERVE the state of our famous PADANG SINGAPORE.







We hope to bring to the MCs attention that todays Padang is in an EXTREMELY bad condition.







Many of us grew up knowing Padang by heart and has always felt proud & privileged to be a part of it. This sentiment has been weakened when little pride is taken to uphold the clubs tagline - SINGAPORES PREMIER OASIS ON THE PADANG.







Saving the Padang would send a strong sign to all Singaporeans and foreign visitors that SRC is ready to go beyond immediate material gains to preserve her rich historical heritage that took us many decades to build.







We hope that MC would take immediate actions that can help reinstate the clubs reputation as SINGAPORES PREMIER OASIS ON THE PADANG and continue to be a living monument for many future generations of Singaporean.
