This petition is to Brian Billick, and the rest of the Baltimore Ravens staff. The fans have expressed their opinions on Troy Smith on YOUR boards, other various boards, radio talk shows, and many commentators have written stating WE, the fans want to see him play. Our playoffs hopes have been diminished, we want to see him in action on a professional level. Starting him when we have nothing to lose, and playing him the entire game will give the fans, staff, and press what he is capable of on a professional level in the NFL. We don't want to just see him thrown into a game, we want to see him START, and finish an entire game. Steve McNair is done, he is too old and proved this season he is no longer capable of being a starting quarterback in the NFL. Kyle Boller has had his chances for years now, and is NOT the savior of this offense. You, and your staff drafted him, now lets show everyone whether he is capable of being a quarterback for this ball club! What do you have to lose? NOTHING! At the very least he can prove to be a 2nd string quarterback for next season, or at least show other teams what he is capable of in case we need to trade him. The fans want to see Troy Smith, please make it happen.
