STOP STARBUCKS FROM OPENING A NEW STORE ON KAUAI!!! The community of Kapaa and surrounding areas want to keep our small town unique in character with small-individualized retail business, restaurants and many others. The people of Kauai play a large role in maintaining that character. The influx of formula strip malls, retail shops, restaurants and coffee shops are threatening the towns of Kauai.
1. Kapaa has 5 independent Coffee Merchants just in Kapaa
2. Starbucks has 41stores island wide
3. Starbucks has a history of pushing out established independent merchants
4. Large corporations = higher rent
5. More and more visitors make Kauai their destination for its uniqueness
6. Starbucks Hawaii, there is no Aloha for you in Kapaa Town!
