The lack of originality on so many levels of entertainment is disgusting. Movies, TV Shows, Music, and Video Games are constantly being remade into cheap imitations that can never live up to the original and function to generate sales while pretty much desecrating the original. It doesn't matter how radical a change is made to casting, for example, race as in the Honeymooners 2005 remake, it is offensive to see classic after classic remade as a soulless and recycled void of a production. It seems that entertainment has either lost it's creativity or chooses not to be creative and dig up old works from the 20th Century and relive that Century again by remaking the old successful shows with the production of today. This is a very upsetting plateau that all forms of entertainment are stuck on. This Petition is for anyone sick of seeing remake after remake tarnish the original and never seeing anything fresh made with the modern technology available today. I want this petition to end all remakes for good and make a rule for originality since the remaking process has gone too far.
