Team Associated 4WD Buggy Request

We the undersigned, humbly request that Associated Electrics, INC. develop and manufacture a pure racing 1/10 scale 4WD electric buggy. With all the TC3 clones currently on the market, its clear that the base platform for an AE 4WD buggy is in place and ready for further development into a fire breathing, Losi stomping, 4WD competition ready, electric 1/10 scale buggy.

We realize that your decision for product development is heavily weighed upon the feedback you receive from your distributors, whereas the distributors receive feedback from the local hobby shops, which ultimately order the products for the consumer. The current line of communication is unreliable due to the fact that there are too many players the consumers rely on to deliver the proper message or feedback to the manufacture.

With the TC3 clones currently on the market, having a somewhat AE 4WD buggy is cost prohibitive to the majority of consumers. These clones perform extremely well in the right hands, but obtaining OEM parts, aftermarket upgrades and general help with the car are almost non-existent or difficult to get quickly. We are confident that AE could engineer a 4WD buggy that would ignite the 4WD racing class again to the level it once was a number of years ago. Nothing builds sales like competition and rivalry.

With the arrival of the highly anticipated RC10B4 and RC10T4, the rivalry between the Top Two, Team Associated and Team Losi, is stronger than ever. Lets continue that competition into the 4WD buggy segment of off-road racing with a 100\% Team Associated 4WD buggy to compete head-to-head with the Losi XXX4

There are currently quite a few online forums with discussions concerning the development of an AE 4WD buggy, and the question occurs frequently in the B4 tech talk at www.rc10.com. The answer, from Team Associated, is they sell to the distributors not the consumers.

We the consumers, would like a 100\% genuine, 100\% AE built 4WD electric buggy, where parts would be readily available at the local hobby shops, with the legendary durability, tunability and engineering perfection of a 100\% AE product. AE if you finish it, we WILL purchase one.

By signing this petition, you the consumer, are requesting Associated Electrics, INC. to finish development of the 1/10 scale electric 4WD buggy by bypassing the middle man, (distributors and hobby shops), of the Radio Controlled hobby community and voicing your opinion directly to the manufacturer.
