The Horror Channel

We, the undersigned, request that you, Blue Ridge Communications, add The Horror Channel to your programming lineup when it becomes available in October 2004, or as soon as possible thereafter.

We believe that not only would The Horror Channel be welcomed by current Blue Ridge Communications subscibers, but by offering the Channel will also attract many new subscribers to your service. We further believe that just as customers swap services back and forth for reasons of cost, customer service, and the like, the same will happen for the channels you carry. Customers that feel passionate about this cause would certainly change service to obtain it. Simple put, you would lose customers who want The Horror Channel to those service providers that do carry it, should you choose not to add this channel to your lineup. Horror fans are a large, loud, and loyal group. You have but to take a look at the money generated by this genre over the years, as recent as late 2004 with the successful theatrical release of several new horror films, to see the marketing potential in this media. We can assure you that once we find out who will be carrying the Channel, we will subscribe to that service in droves -- and make sure that our friends do so as well.
