Does anyone agree when I say this was the worst show ever? I enjoyed the Movie Awards more than this, and that's saying a lot. I knew it would suck as soon as they announced where it was gonna be held. Miami. Instead of where it's always been, New York. I was pissed then. Even more when I seen the list of performers and presenters. Way more when I heard there wasn't going to be a host. Then to my most extreme level of disappointment when I watched the show tonight. Did anybody notice they just kept flashing to the same people over and over again in the audience? It was because there was hardly anyone there. The only three good performers, Jet, Hoobastank, and Yellowcard, were all lumped into one performance. The people who won didn't even deserve it. Dave Chappelle got hardly any airtime, although he was supposed to give a 'special performance'. Where was that? Maybe at the after party? How could there even be an after party with only the very few celebrities that bothered to attend? Linkin Park getting the Viewer's Choice was a crock. GC deserved it all the way. And none of the *Nsync guys were there, not even Justin, and he was nominated. (I know some of you guys probably couldn't care less about the last two things, but I'm just naming some of the things that made me upset.) The pre-show was more entertaining than the main show, and the pre-show even sucked! The post-show was a total disappointment. What was it, like one, maybe two minutes long? The thing about it being mostly rap didn't make me that mad because I know that it's really popular this year or whatever. But still, it was like watching the BET Source Awards. (Which, I do.) Britney not winning an award, well, she doesn't really deserve one anyway. And I thought Andy Dick was supposed to make an appearance? I've read that in two places, one being TV Guide. So c'mon MTV, put your heads together a little better next time. (If there even is a next time, I wouldn't doubt if your guys' ratings dropped after airing this pathetic excuse of an awards show.) And please, at least go back to where the VMA's are truly meant to be, New York City.
