Tired of being Gased by the Gas Companies and the government

Just a small one for the first petition on here. I would like to see gas companies in conjunction with our federal government lower gas prices at the pump. I am tired of seeing how the gas companies keep making billion dollar profit quarters and years on our backs. With the government telling us that there is nothing that tey can do. I don't believe that and I hope that the majority of Canadians don't believe it either. How long are we going to keep bending over and taking this. Come on Canada. Who says that the gas companies can't make a multi-million dollar profit instead of billions? Why does the government fail so miserably to protect us? Where do you think this money is going? Lets make the first step and start the process rolling to reduce prices at the pumps and reduce the obscene profit that the gas companies and federal government are making on our backs. Don't take the line offered by the companies and government that they only make cents on the dollar. Start with a petition and then we can move to boycotting certain companies on certain days, but only if we stand up together and let them know we have had enough.
