In this Petition we the Students of DeWitt Clinton High School would like the following things to be changed in our school. Our school recently has undergone many changes towards old policies that don't give the students freedom. They no longer let the students leave the students for lunch neither bring electronics such as cell phones, cd players, cameras etc...
Cell phones are used to communicate with parents and with out them the students could be in danger. The school's new metal detectors treat us, the students, like prisoners. Compared to other schools in our borough of the Bronx, we are one of the best and now our freedom is being taken away. Please, students and parents sign this petition. We feel that our freedom is necessary. If these policies stay in tact we guarantee that DeWitt Clinton High School will not gain anything but students unhappiness with the school.
