World of Warcraft Professions Improvement

Dear Blizzard,

This petition has been created in order to show you that a large portion of World of Warcraft's fanbase would like to see improvements made to the Professions system. We feel that the current system does not properly reward the player for the time and effort required. At this time, it's more rewarding to sell the materials required to make an item than it is to make the actual item. As a community, we feel that this is a serious problem, and we ask you to at least review the current system.

This petition is in no way a statement of discontent with World of Warcraft or Blizzard. The purpose of this petition is simply to show that that the community has an interest in seeing Professions become a more worthwhile gameplay choice. The benefits of a healthy crafting economy can be seen in many of World of Warcraft's predecessors, and we as a community would like to see something similar in World of Warcraft.

We hope that you will take the opinions of the undersigned into consideration and make a change, even if it's a small one, to the way Professions are currently implemented. The undersigned are not only your customers, but also your fans. As fans and players of World and Warcraft, we hope that our opinions and ideas are heard over the course of World of Warcraft's development.
