This e-mail is regarding the WWE Smackdown series.
As you are probably aware, pro wrestler Eddie Guerrero passed away in the early morning hours of November 13th, in his hotel room. Eddie has had numerous accomplishments inside the ring, but most of all, Eddie has been an admirable role model to say the least.
Eddie Guerrero lost everything he had- his wife, children, career, and almost his life- to drugs and alchohol. Through a spirit that never died, Eddie Guerrero persevered and regained all that he had lost. After reuniting with his family, Eddie went on to win the WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar in February of 2004.
Now, he is dead. He was only thirty-eight, yet he accomplished more than most do in their entire lives. Not necessarily on a prosperity or monetary skill, but Eddie Guerrero transcended the lines of a pro wrestler and became a role model to many people. Eddie Guerrero became a symbol of passion, sacrifice, and perseverance. I ask you, THQ, as a long-time fan of the Smackdown series, that in memory of Eddie and all that he accomplished in and out of the ring, that he be included in the next Smackdown game as a Legend, so that he may in some way be a part of the game. Although some may say it's "just a game," and therefore not a proper means for anything resembling a tribute, I would say that anything meant to be in memory of Eddie is appropriate.
