1080i Support For 720p Only PS3 Games Past and Future

We, the undersigned, hereby request that Sony Computer Entertainment create some sort of remedy, in whatever form necessary, for the problem with the Playstation 3 Computer Entertainment System where 720p only resolution PS3 games downscaling to 480p instead of upscaling to 1080i on 480p/1080i only High Definition Televisions.
The Playstation 3 is a High Definition device, and like most other High Definition devices, should upscale the 720p signal to 1080i if 720p is not available.
