A call to South to take back our Confederate Battle Flag

The Confederate Battle Flag has been a symbol of Southern heritage since the end of the Civil War. However, many hate groups such as the KKK has highjacked the flag and perverted it's meaning. The Confederate Battle Flag has been made into a symbol of hate, which was never the intended purpose. Many of us who believe that the Confederate Battle Flag to be a symbol of Southern pride have been unfairly targeted as people of hate. This petition, to be sent to the U.S. Congress, request the following:
1.All hate groups cease and desist use of the Confederate Battle Flag as their symbol and for hate purposes
2.A formal apology from the various hate groups to the people of the South for bastardizing the Confederate Battle Flag and it's history
3.A clear and precise writing of the history of the Confederate Battle Flag
It is time for the people of the South take back what has unfairly been stolen from them. Please help in restoring the true meaning of the Confederate Battle Flag. Thank you.
