A Declaration of Peace

WE, who are children of Earth, declare that all women, men and children are our sisters and our brothers, and we declare PEACE upon all of humanity. We will not take up arms, but will work for the abolition of war and the weapons and ways of war. We now break the chain of hate and destruction that has plagued us throughout history.

We give this gift freely to all, without condition or reservation. We will not pass judgment, and we will work to put away our fears and our anger. We offer our love, our compassion, our strength and all our resources to heal and uplift all those who suffer and are oppressed.

We make no conditions, but we call upon all men and women equally in our declaration of peace. We call upon the nations to put aside fear and hatred. Do not send Death against your enemies, for it will never serve you. We call upon all nations, all religions, and all people to confess your hatreds and the things for which you are hated, and to abjure them forever.

We call upon the affluent of the world to give freely to those in need, and to give without condition or reservation. We call upon the nations to end all economic sanctions, and to give food and shelter to all who are hungry and in need of refuge. Ask nothing for your gifts and impose no conditions. Recognize the right of all peoples to determine their own ways, their destinies and their morality.

We call upon the poor to forgive and to open your hearts to those you fear and hate. Put aside Terror and Death, for they will not serve you either. Look and see that there is still love for you in the hearts of the world.

We call upon all societies and all religions to be tolerant of one another, and never to impose your ideals on others. Remember that God, Allah, Yahweh,
Wakan Tanka, Goddess, Spirit, are all names for One, and that One loves us all in the same love and the same moment, without plan or reservation.

We call upon all people to join hands with us in a circle of life. Declare peace in your own way, and never stop practicing it. Every place and people on
Earth has at some time been oppressed and enslaved. No one is guiltless of atrocity. Confess what you have done, and resolve never to do so again.
