As a loyal fan of the National Basketball Association(NBA), I am appalled at the treatment and threats directed toward Houston Rockets' coach Jeff Van Gundy by David Stern,commissioner of the National Basketball Association. Stern's statements were in retaliation to Van Gundy's interview with the media about the officiating of the NBA game. The fine of $100,000 and intimidation of a lifetime ban toward Jeff Van Gundy show the world that the NBA is willing to hide behind their power of manipulation and not service their audience.
As a avid fan, I would like some feedback on:
-Why certain players receive preferential treatment from the "unbiased" officials?
-Why owners can parlay partial input on situations?
-What does the NBA plan to do about the problem of game changing bad calls?
As a lifelong fan of the greatest sport of the planet, I hope that you will be able to give us a just sporting league in the near future.
