After "flip magazine" was taken off the shelves two years ago, not much was heard from Jessica Zafra. Which is sad because her writings need to be read; she being the Marcos Baby Generation's feldspar and irony spokesperson. One Zafra sighting was the publication of Twisted 7 and even Tessa Prieto-Valdez admitted that the book is a must-have. Last month, she decided to ... blog. In a few weeks, she had tackled lechon in Queens, NYC, Proust, Imelda and the Cold War (Huh! rub yourself, Conrado) and movies. Just like that, she has 800 comments or should we say commentarists. Knowing that there are 1 blogger a/o mirons for every 1,000 Pinoys and non-Pinoys, there are approximately 800,000 Zafra fans who were able to sniff their Queen Bee. Inquirer, that's enough to bring the young back to reading your tabloid! She also inspired me to blog (shameless self-advertising unholyhours.blogspot.com) Lately, Zafra is back to talking about her cats. Which is sad. That's why, I think it's time to hire her.
