A Petition To Require Oil Companies To Publicly List The Country Of Origin Of Their Petroleum Products

INTENT: To require companies that import oil and distribute petroleum products domestically to identify the country of origin. DESIRED RESULTS: This would be a way for us, the consumer, to find out where our gasoline and other petroleum products come from. Have you ever wondered if your oil purchases support terrorism here and abroad? Discrimination against women? Slave labor? These are the practices of many Arab countries. The Saudis are our fair weather friends....and that is probably the best we can hope for from ANY country in that region. It is my goal and my intent, for consumers to become more aware of what their oil Dollar purchases. Perhaps we can concentrate purchases where it may be better appreciated: Europe (Great Britain), Russia, Mexico, Venezuala, to name a few of our better and still emerging friends. If you feel strongly about this issue please sign this petition. Pass it on to your friends and aquaintances ..... I will do the same.
