A request to impeach Bush/Cheney

To House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, we the undersigned respectfully request that you investigate impeachment proceedings against George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. These 2 men have:
* held suspected terrorists in Guantanamo Bay Prison for more than 5 years WITHOUT amy legal representation or any outside contact.
* led us to a immoral (and possibly illegal) war where almost 3,000 of our forces and untold thousands of Iraqis have died unnecessarily.
* led us to war against the reccomedations of world leaders.
* lied repeatedly about why we should be in war: First. it was because of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). Then when WMDs were not found, he said because he wanted to bring democracy to Iraq.
* Because of the war, the suplus has disappeared and turned into a deficit.
Because of the above the United States is NOT safer as George Bush claims, but is in greater danger because:
* the United States looks like a bully to much of the world. We used to be looked up upon for our freedoms and way of life. We are now a laughing stock
* by sending our troops in harm's way, fewer young people want to go in the military, further stretching our military too thin thus making our military weaker
* the more we kill in Iraq, the more people will become terrorists and plan attacks against America and Americans.
Please Ms. Pelosi, follow the will of the people.
