We support the Cathedral's plans to develop two under-utilized perimeter parcels on the Cathedral Close. This development will provide urgently needed reliable income which will enable the Cathedral to sustain its religious and humanitarian missions and to preserve the Cathedral and its associated structures. The Cathedral has pledged that the new structures will be built within strict guidelines approved by its trustees.

We support the Cathedral's right to partner in this development with whomever best serves the Cathedral's mission, and look forward to this development, which will result in a revitalized Cathedral, a more accessible Close, and strengthened ties with the neighborhood the Cathedral serves.
