I believe that the visual and performing arts are a vital part of our lives and the culture of Addison. The arts enrich our lives the way no other activity can, and provide an invaluable heritage to our community and to future generations.
A Center for the Arts will elevate the Village of Addison to a social and cultural level on par with the most notable and sophisticated communities in Chicagoland. Not only would it bring an influx of patrons from the surrounding area, it would provide much-needed studio, gallery, and performance space for our already established arts organizations.
