"I leave for the USAF September 28 2010 and have been very disappointed in my options. I'm a techy and want to keep doing what I love while having some of the prestiege that comes from a warrant officer."

"I wouldn't look for a DOD contracting job if there were warrant officer ranks in the USAF. This would eliminate the need for high-paid contractors and cause a reduction in the number of higher-paid commissioned officers."
