The Ethiopian government lead by Meles Zenawi has officially implemented rape, torture, slavery, child trafficking and genocide as a means of political survival. These human rights abuses are well documented by Amnesty International and The Human Rights Watch.
Recently, the Ethiopian government expelled The Red cross from working in Ogaden, a remote area facing a serious humanitarian crisis.
From the New York Times:
"The Ethiopian government is blockading emergency food aid and choking off trade to large swaths of a remote region in the eastern part of the country that is home to a rebel force, putting hundreds of thousands of people at risk of starvation".
We respectfully ask the African Union to investigate these events, and to relocate it's headquarters to a more stable and democratic African nation.
