AGAINST SIKKIM DARJEELING MERGER

Hello everyone. There has been a talk in the town that a vested political party "Gorkha Rashtriya Congress" has been trying to brainwash people by creating an issue of Sikkim-Darjeeling merger. As we all know, we Sikkimese people are very peace loving and we do not want any kind of merger. We love Darjeeling and its people but we do not want to go for any type of merger. This is totally anti national and unconstitutional. The Govt. of India should take this issue seriously. We do not want any violence in here. We do not want a second Kashmir in India. We are happy with what we have and we love our country. These political organisations, rather than talking of merger, should help their own people, who have to go to far away places and work. They do not have a future in Darjeeling because people and politicians like "Gorkha Rashtriya Congress" are just giving them false hopes, but actually just fillin in their pockets. Few years back they raised an issue of Gorkhaland, but they did not get. Now they are sure that they are not going to get Gorkhaland, now they are taking another issue of Sikkim Darjeeling merger. The sad part is that, some vested interests of Sikkim are also supporting this, just for their own political benefits.

My dear Sikkimese people, the merger will bring chaos here, we do not want our peace to be disturbed here. We need to be united and inform the Govt. of India as well. They should be serious about this. We are protected by Article 371F of the Indian Constitution. Please friends, let us all sign this petition and let the whole world know whatr Sikkimese unity is all about.

We do not want our state to be in the same situation as the Darjeeling hill is in now.
