As a legal citizen of Alabama, I believe the new Arizona anti-illegal immigration law(SB 1070) would be beneficial to Alabama. I believe a similar law should be enacted, signed, and enforced by our elected officials.
I believe this law is constitutional in keeping with the Constitutions of the United States and Alabama and would be a valuable tool in protecting the sovereignty of our state.
I encourage my elected officials to pursue this idea and will consider their decision on this matter in the next election cycle for their office.
