'We The People' of the State of Alabama do hereby state that we are completely disgusted with the recent Supreme Court ruling on eminent domain and that we want to make it absolutely clear that we will not put up with anyone being able to come into our neighborhoods and homes under the guise of 'Economic Improvement' and take away our homes and land for what they would consider the 'Fair Market Value.'
We further state that the existing rules of Eminent Domain should stand and that our land can only be taken by government for road/freeway improvement and that the government and the government ONLY must pay fair market value to those who are being displaced.
This is also a message to our representatives and senators in the State of Alabama and the US Congress that We will not stand for any actions on your part that support the recent Supreme Court ruling and we will vote you out of office if you do when you come up for re-election.
