As a proud American, I was shocked to hear that three foreign-owned slaughterhouses are killing our American horses to sell to wealthy diners in Europe and Japan. Horse slaughter is un-American, a black eye on our nation that demands action. I urge you to stand up for horses and our American way of life! Please sign this petition, or at least urge your U.S. Representative and Senators to support H.R. 503, it is the least you can do to help animals! I mean - ask yourself this - Do I eat horse?
