Anti Bank Ban Petition

Once again the world of Second Life has been shook up by a sudden statement on the Second Life Blog. Again Linden Labs has succeeded in attacking a striving force in SL economy. Not since the gambling ban has there been any more commotion and general panic in SL. It may seem they are attacking fraudulent companies an malevicious personae, but forcing this inconsiderate law upon us will cause more harm than it wil redeem.
First of all they're loosing a massive amount of money generated by banks.. Banks put the money at work in real life to support SL economy. Several banks also run a stock exchange were companies can gather investors money and distribute the profits. These money flows concentrated in banks and stockmarkets are what makes SL economy bloom. Most of these operations are run by the most qualified CEO's to which I look up myself as a starting investor. In my opinion what bothers Linden Lab the most is their loss of grip on the economy they created. It seems to me that they are scared of financial institutions taking control over L$ value on which they depend to make their profits.
I'm sure there were some people who took advantage of the simple man in the street looking for his fortune. But even in this situation their gain is your failure as an investor. There are enought thrustworthy corporations out there where everyone can gain something. Lots of people lost money in fraudulent companies, but I myself was lucky enough to encounter the right people and companies that helped me to regain my money. It would be a shame to loose these opportunities in Second Life. And while SL claims to be so much more then a replay of your ordinary lives, broadening its boundaries and making the impossible possible, it's becoming more and more a drag to live and work in this virtual RL-environment.
By signing this petition you can state that your are not happy with the recent changes in SL. That you also feel LL is narrowing the possibilities of their self-proclaimed promised land, and is only looking after their own gain.
I thank you for you time.
