"I am particularly concerned about cuts to the reading specialist. Working with a reading specialist in a small group has been very important for my daughter. Reading is clearly a crucial skill, and assistance in that area should not be cut back."

"The staff at Tuckahoe is already [ushed to the limit, teaching in a facility not designed for that many students. Please do not add additional burdens. The students at these large, overcrowded schools already receive a lesser portion of county resources."
