We request that Murray Walker be honoured with a KBE. Murray is, for many of us, the voice of motorsport. He has entertained us for many years, with his contagious excitement and the now famous Murrayisms. For him to have been ignored by the system for so long is just wrong.
For him to come out of retirement to commentate on the first of the GP Masters series bought back a lot of memories. All of them good. He has devoted much of his life to motorsport and its fans, and deserves an official honour.
