Auckland, New Zealand Dirt Jump Park

This petition is based in Auckland, New Zealand. It is time for a dirt jump park in Auckland as mountain bikers have been told that they cannot bike at skate/BMX parks and are constantly getting fines and told to get off the street by police and pedestrians. There is one park for mountain bikers but this is at Woodhill Forest close to Muriwai beach and takes lots of time, effort and energy to get there and back. This petition is also going to make skaters and BMX riders happy as well because this will get mountain bikers out of the placed for them to ride. Auckland has around 15 skate parks and not a single dirt jump park besides illegally built in public and privately owned land. More and more people in New Zealand are discovering the sport of mountain biking so lets accommodate this growth.

The growing violence at skate parks between skaters/BMX riders and mountain bikers is shocking a lot of this would not occur if mountain bikers had a place to ride.

So lets give Auckland mountain bike riders a better, safer and more suitable place to ride and exercise.
