MTV told us no one wanted to see the Backstreet Boys. We're here to prove you wrong.

**MTV**
Backstreet Boys specials, interviews, and news pieces have become few and far between on MTV. In fact, they can even be called a rarity. We, as fans, acknowledge MTV's past Backstreet Boys specials and programs, to include the following:

Backstreet TV
BSB Over Broadway

There was even a time when the group was frequently asked to perform at award shows and on TRL (the End of Summer Countdown comes to mind). They've also co-hosted programs and done several other minor MTV appearances.

However, MTV, we are well aware that as of late, the Backstreet Boys are being treated quite differently than other popular artists featured on your station. While similar acts Nsync and Britney Spears receive their own "Greatest MTV Moments" specials, even whole WEEKENDS dedicated to anything and everything that pertains to these artists, the Backstreet Boys seem to be overlooked and forgotten about in this capacity.

Whether this be because you are deliberately trying to shelve the Backstreet Boys, or simply because you think there is a lack of demand to see this group on MTV, we don't know.

**VH1**
While we are not particularly angry over anything VH1 has (or has not) done, we are petitioning to see a Driven or Behind The Music special featuring the Backstreet Boys. Artists similar to this group (Nsync, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson) have all been given such specials, but just as on MTV, the Backstreet Boys have been seemingly overlooked.

Our main focus here is to generate more exposure for the Backstreet Boys, but not just to promote them. The simple fact is, we WANT to see our favorite group, even if it means having to see old specials re-aired. We also feel that the Backstreet Boys are still a very popular group, with a substantially large fanbase that is simply awaiting their next move.

We feel it is unfair and WRONG that the media wants to push this group out of the spotlight and into the shadows. It should be acknowledged that they were (and still are) a driving force behind today's pop music.

We are not asking for much. We will feel as if we've accomplished something if you agree to re-air a past Backstreet Boys special or play their videos a bit more.

We want you to know that Backstreet Boys fans still exist, and we still want to see our favorite group.
