This is a petition to hopefully get a much needed bus route linking Cabra and Finglas. As many of you know there was a proposal in 2014 put forward by Pascal O'Donoghue to have a bus route linking these two areas but that never came to be. Many of the people I have spoken to travel from Finglas to Cabra or vice versa for work and school, yes these two areas are right next to each other but no bus route means either car pooling or walking. The older people I have spoken to who have moved no longer travel over to their old area to see family and friends unless there is a lift over and back as the walk is too long and with this weather. A single bus that could be adjoined to the 40 bus route and then once over the bridge into Cabra the 120 bus route would mean no new stops would have to be erected, no cost to Dublin Bus (only a gain really as more fares)and no cost to DCC, it really would benefit the children going to school, people going to work, and the older people from Finglas travelling to Cabra and vice versa, please sign and show Minister Shane Ross and Dublin Bus we really need this bus route. Thank you - Kristina
