Ban Motorized LeafBlowers In Glendale/Burbank

This petition is for concerned residents of Glendale and Burbank, CA to attempt a ban on LEAFBLOWERS used by gardeners in these areas.

On any given day, there are hundreds of gardeners that descend onto Glendale and Burbank properties...all day long, all week long.

The amount of NOISE POLLUTION, AIR POLLUTION, and TOXIC FUMES released into the air by all these leafblowers is extremely hazardous to the health of the citizens living in Glendale and Burbank.

There is a constant, all day drone of these blowers. All day we have to smell the fumes and have stuffy noses. All day long children are exposed these fumes and dust particles. Is it any wonder there's such a high rate of lung problems and asthma in this County?

As residents of these two cities, we can try and make a difference by signing a petition which will then be handed to the City Council members. Whether they have the foresight and understanding to make a difference no one can predict. But at least with this kind of petition, we can show them who we'll vote for if changes don't occur.
