Ban the Indian cricketers from representing the 1 Billion

The Pathetic Display by the INDIAN CRICKET TEAM does not deserve the persevering adoration of 1 Billion people. These jokers do not deserve the backing of steadfast fan base like this country offers.
Without an element of doubt, cricket is the one thing that unites the nation, regardless of caste, religion, creed, financial prowess, societal status or any other norm. And year after year, game after game, these fancied strongest on paper tigers disappoint thoroughly, to put it mildly. We have seen no worse performance than the world cup of 2007. it can be said that they always perform under pressure. But my point is that it is not about them- it is about the 11 who have been chosen to represent a Nation of a billion where nothing binds like cricket does. It is about the facet of failure and despondency that we set ourselves up for, every time we put our collective trust and pride in the fallible hands of eleven.

For starters, this team led by selfish no-gooders like Tendulkar, Dhoni, Dravid, Ganguly Yuvraj who I wish had the least aorta of responsibility of holding onto their wickets. Thy most definitely do not deserve the respect of:

2. Every little boy from the slum who dreams of owning nothing but a cricket bat, so that one day he can emulate his idol, Tendulkar.


3. It is this sport that the impoverished and poor of this country use as an outlet- a dream that they can all live outside of the daily struggles of their lives, a binding sport that they use to be oblivious to the hunger, unemployment, poverty and social ills that they face everyday- the beauty of free will- to dream that thri so-called heroes will bring home the cup for them, so that can rejoice in that moment and bask in that glorious instant for eons.- The dreams of millions who have nothing but that dream of a cricket victory to savor.

Dont these guys get it??! It is not about them. It really isnt . It is about the Billion that these jokers have been chosen to represent. It is about the dreams of millions whose dreams get shattered every time these jokers go out there and make a fools of themselves. It is about these millions of poor who dont even have more than a meal a day to feed themselves, but yet constantly support and back these ignominious jokers time after time after time.
It is time we stand up and ask the authorities who are to:
1. Retire the entire team/ ban the sport for a year at least. These men in blue do not deserve our respect and adoration. When India is shining in its own right, this pack of morons have no right to derail the train of economic progress, as emotion and apathy do play a huge factor in our macro-economic sentiment and macro-economic progress.
2. Ban the overpaid losers from endorsing advertisements and other revenue making streams of opportunity than the game itself.
3. Provide a platform for success for other sporting activities, wherein exists far brighter and more responsible individuals.
