Ban the Jinx

For 97 years the Montreal Canadiens have thrilled the fans of their home town as well as across the world, creating a legacy of winning. Most of this legacy was forged inside their hallowed shrine, the Montreal Forum. Unfortunately, time took its toll and a new economic reality set in as they were forced to relocate to the new Molson, later renamed the Bell Centre. The legacy of winning did not follow.







Most would think that this is due to the mystique that surrounded the Forum not being easily transferred to the much more unfriendly confines of the Bell Centre. While this is partially true, a much more pressing matter is at hand. A young man, passionate about the Canadiens, has been cursed. Every time he spends his hard earned money to see his favorite team play, they lose. So, for his own good and the good of the team overall (which I'm sure he knows, deep, deep down)... (deep!) I propose to ban Bassem from the Bell Centre.
