Petition to ban the sale of candy flavor tobacco products in Florida
Tobacco companies have been marketing and selling brands of their products that are flavored with fruit and candy sweeteners. These brands are an attempt to lure young and novice users, target our children and circumvent the 1997 Florida Settlement Agreement. Our goal is to recommend to members of the Florida Legislature that a ban on candy flavored tobacco products will protect Florida's youth from a product that addicts and kills 88 Floridians each day.
