Petition to Her Majesty the Queen
Your Majesty,
We, the undersigned citizens of the United Kingdom or the Commonwealth, are deeply concerned about the survival of our national independence and democracy; we therefore respectfully petition You, our Sovereign, to uphold the Oath You made before God and your People at your Coronation, to govern and defend us according to our ancient laws, customs and usages.
We further petition Your Majesty to refuse Royal Assent, as is your lawful Right and Duty, to any law that threatens, weakens or diminishes our national sovereignty by seeking, for example, to impose an EU constitution in primacy over our long established British Constitution; and to dissolve Parliament forthwith, should your Ministers treasonously challenge your authority by accepting, ratifying, or in any way passing into British law, legislation that transfers our sovereignty and birthright of liberty and independence to a foreign power.
