BlackStar Kennels Breed and Show Petition

I noticed yesterday a post on rare breeds and everyone knows I've been a rare breeder from the very first day I joined BSK. So, how could I not reply to that post? Well, I am. I've made this pie chart to show the AKC breed groups on BSK and how many dogs there are in each group. The "Other" part of the chart in purple is all the breeds that are not AKC. I also noticed that BSK doesn't honor a lot of AKC-honored breeds. I believe they should be added to the game, they are popular breeds, why would they not be in the game? Here is what I found in my own research.

Sporting Group (in red)
1293 dogs ~ 12.71\%
The Sporting Group is the fourth biggest group on BSK. This group includes most spaniels and retriever, like the American Water Spaniel (coming in with 44 dogs) and the Nova Scotia Duck Trolling Retriever (with 28 dogs). The three breeds in this group with the highest number of dogs are the Labrador Retriever with 644 dogs, the Golden Retriever with 159 dogs, and the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon with 62 dogs. The breeds with the lease amount of dogs are the English Cocker Spaniel with 8 dogs, the German Wirehaired Pointer with 4 dogs, and the Clumber Spaniel with only 3 dogs. This group only had one dog that wasn't honored by BSK and that was the Curly-Coated Retriever.

Hound Group (in blue)
849 dogs ~ 8.35\%
The Hound Group is the sixth largest breed group on BSK. This group includes the Pharaoh Hound (with only 16 dogs) and the Dachshund (with 59 dogs). The three biggest breeds in the Hound Group are the Beagle with 222 dogs, the Rhodesian Ridgeback with 109 dogs, and the Greyhound with 84 dogs. The smallest breeds in the Hound Group are the Black and Tan Coonhound with only 7 dogs, the Whippet with 13 dogs, and the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen with 14 dogs. BSK doesn't honor five AKC breeds in the Hound Group: The American Foxhound, English Foxhound, Harrier, Norwegian Elkhound, and the Plott.

Working Group (in green)
1813 dogs ~ 17.83\%
The Working Group is the second largest breed group on BSK. This group includes the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (with 10 dogs) and the Alaskan Malamute (with 94 dogs). The three largest breeds in this group are the Siberian Husky with 549 dogs, the Rottweiler with 236 dogs, and the Boxer with 201 dogs. The three smallest breeds are the Portuguese Water Dog with only 2 dogs making it one of the smallest breeds on BSK, the Tibetan Mastiff with 4 dogs, and the Kuvasz with 6 dogs. BSK doesn't honor three AKC breeds in the Working Group; the Black Russian Terrier, Bullmastiff, and the German Pinscher.

Terrier Group (in yellow)
361 dogs ~ 3.55\%
The Terrier Group is the second smallest breed group on BSK with only 361 dogs total. The Terrier Group includes the Airedale Terrier (with 27 dogs), the Miniature Bull Terrier (with 6 dogs), and the Sealyham Terrier (with only 3 dogs). The three biggest breeds on BSK in the Terrier Group are the American Staffordshire Terrier with 90 dogs, the Miniature Schauzer with 56 dogs, and the Border Terrier with 26 dogs. The smallest breeds are the Norfolk Terrier with only 1 dog, the Kerry Blue Terrier with also only 1 dog which is ten years old, and the Manchester Terrier with 2 dogs that are both 10 and 11 years old. BSK doesn't honor four AKC breeds; Bull Terrier, Glen of Imaal Terrier, Parson Russell Terrier, and the Wire Fox Terrier.

Toy Group (in pink)
918 dogs ~ 9.03\%
The Toy Group is the fourth biggest group on BSK. The Toy group includes the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (with 49 dogs) and the Italian Greyhound (with 25 dogs). The three biggest breeds are the Yorkshire Terrier with 209 dogs, the Chihuahua with 177 dogs, and the Pomeranian with 121 dogs. The smallest breeds are the Manchester terrier with 2 dogs, the Silky terrier with 3 dogs, and the Miniature Pinscher with 8 dogs. BSK doesn't honor three AKC breeds in the Toy Group; Affenpinscher, Brussels Griffon, and the English Toy Spaniel.

Non-Sporting Group (in teal)
599 dogs ~ 5.89\%
The Non-Sporting Group is the third smallest breed group. The Non-Sporting Group includes the Chow Chow (with 40 dogs) and the Lhasa Apso (with 9 dogs). The largest breeds are the Dalmatian with 196 dogs, the Shiba Inu with 75 dogs, and the Boston terrier with 58 dogs. The smallest breeds are the Lowchen with 3 dogs, the Tibetan terrier with 8 dogs, and with the Tibetan Spaniel and the Lhasa Apso tied for third with 9 dogs. BSK doesn't honor two AKC Non-Sporting breeds; the Finnish Spitz and the French Bulldog.

Herding Group (in orange)
1511 dogs ~ 14.86\%
The Herding Group is the third largest breed group. The Herding Group includes the Belgian Tervuren (with 68 dogs) and the Australian Cattle Dog (with 36 dogs). The largest breeds are the Border Collie with 426 dogs, the German Shepherd Dog with 309 dogs, and the Australian Shepherd with 221 dogs. The smallest breeds are the Puli with 3 dogs, the Briard with 6 dogs, and a tie between the Bearded Collie and the Old English Sheepdog with 13 dogs. BSK doesn't honor two Herding group AKC breeds; the Polish Lowland and the Beauceron.

Miscellaneous Group (in brown)
44 dogs ~ 0.43\%
The Miscellaneous Group is the smallest group on BSK because BSK only honors two of these AKC breeds in this group of 11 breeds; the Bluetick Coonhound with 16 dogs and the Cane Corso with 28 dogs.



I, Techie ID #7, have been playing BlackStar Kennels since it first opened and I want to see the best for the game. This petition is about the breeds that BSK doesn't honor that should be in this dog sim game in order to please its players in the best way possible. I feel strongly about this game and if you do, I would love to see you sign this petition saying you would like to see these breeds and shows honored on BSK. Why don't they have an American Foxhound or the French Bulldog? They are popular breeds and should be honored on this popular dog SIM. The list of dog breeds not honored by BSK is a long one and I don't understand why we can't have these breeds. I also don't understand why we don't have Conformation shows which is the MOST popular type of dog showing in the world. Myself and a fellow BSK player, Black Diamond, ID #58285, have created this list of dog breeds we want to see on BSK. If you would like to see these dog breeds and conformation shows added to the game, please sign this petition that will be sent to Dusty in order to show her why we need these dog breeds and shows in the game! The dog breed list need to also be ordered in a fashionable way so it will make buying dogs easier for players. It is much too hard to find your dog breed in the messy list that is currently in the game.
