Bon Jovi Fans vs Austereo Network for Radio Airplay

We feel that even though you provide the listeners and fans the opportunity to vote in music selections, there is no proof that you are providing the air time to the Artists that are requested. We understand that there is a lot of talent and an extreme diversity of music and their musicians and all requests cannot always be fulfilled but in the case of Bon Jovi we believe you are totally underrating their popularity in this country. After more than one dozen albums as a group and several individual outings by the members we feel they should receive not only more airplay but also more variety of their music.
Recently, Bon Jovi released a new CD and yet the radio airplay on the releases so far has been, to be brutally honest, absolutely DISMAL. We feel at the moment the lacklustre exposure Bon Jovi are receiving from the radio stations in the major cities, the majority of which are part of the Austereo Network is unfair and goes against the democratic principles you adamantly promote.
When Bon Jovi tour this country, you are immediately the first in line to put your hands up for interviews, promotional visits and competitions. We are not asking for more airplay than any other regular/popular bands but request Bon Jovi receive the same amount of airplay as other popular bands receive on your Radio Station network because Bon Jovi are popular.
Bon Jovi have been a hardworking, friendly and co-operative band for almost 20 years and when they dont receive the recognition they deserve it can be rather frustrating.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We believe that the Austereo Network have integrity, and respects the views of its listeners and fans and look forward to your response to this petition.
